I used some basic fabric brushes because they load up with more paint than regular brushes, and I used my artist grade acrylic paints, which I’m sure aren’t the most non-toxic option. Maybe these soy-based paints that claims to have “low” VOC would be a good alternative. At a recent baby shower I went to, they used these Crayola Fabric Markers to paint onesies. I’ve used regular acrylic craft paints with the fabric medium in the past to imprint leaves on pillow cases, and I was so surprised that they held up perfectly to warm water washes and the dryer. This would be a great craft for anyone, child and adult alike, because it looks great regardless of artistic ability. I picked leaves from outside, brushed on the paint, and used a brayer to apply the image
